Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Lawrenceburg received an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group for the third time in a row. This national distinction celebrates STRHS-Lawrenceburg’s consistent achievements in protecting hospital patients from preventable harm and errors.
"Receiving an ‘A’ from The Leapfrog Group is a remarkable accomplishment, positioning STRHS-Lawrenceburg among the nation’s top hospitals for patient safety," said Rhee Perry, CEO of Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Lawrenceburg. "To receive this honor three times in a row is a designation that really showcases our team’s unwavering and consistent commitment to providing safe, high-quality care each and every day. I’m deeply thankful to our staff, physicians, board members, and volunteers for their dedication to our patients and community."
The Leapfrog Group is an independent national watchdog organization with a 10-year history of assigning letter grades to general hospitals throughout the United States, based on a hospital’s ability to prevent medical errors and harm to patients. The grading system is peer-reviewed, fully transparent, and free to the public. Hospital Safety Grade results are based on more than 30 national performance measures and are updated each fall and spring.
