STRHS-Lawrenceburg Names 2025 Mercy Award Winner
May 21, 2025
Southern Tennessee Regional Health System – Lawrenceburg recently announced that Lisa Robertson has been recognized as the hospital’s 2025 Mercy Award winner. The Mercy Award recognizes one employee from each of LifePoint Health’s hospitals who profoundly touches the lives of others and best represents the spirit and values on which the company was founded.
The Mercy Award is an annual recognition program established in 2002 to honor the life and contributions of Scott Mercy, LifePoint’s founding chairman and chief executive officer. The award is considered the highest honor a LifePoint employee can receive.
“At STRHS-Lawrenceburg, we align with LifePoint’s mission to strengthen community health, a goal made possible through the dedication of our employees both in and out of the workplace,” said Rhee Perry, CEO of STRHS-Lawrenceburg. “We are thrilled to honor Lisa Robertson for her outstanding commitment to our patients and community. She consistently exceeds expectations, ensuring every individual she serves experiences exceptional care and compassion.”
A 30-year veteran of our hospital, Lisa transitioned from LPN to Case Manager and exemplifies our hospital’s core values. “Most recently, Lisa went far-above the call of duty for a patient recovering from a broken hip who lost her daughter, the primary caregiver while in our hospital. With no local family, Lisa arranged the funeral for the patient, coordinated with insurance, ensured the patient’s personal animals were fed and cared for daily and organized the cleaning of the patient’s home. Lisa’s actions embody the Mercy Award’s spirit."
Each hospital winner, including Robertson, will be considered for LifePoint’s 2025 companywide Mercy Award. The companywide winner will be announced this summer and honored during a ceremony in Nashville, Tenn., in October, to which Robertson and all hospital winners are invited to attend.
