STRHS-Lawrenceburg Names Mary Glass as Director of MedSurg

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System (STRHS) Lawrenceburg is proud to announce the appointment of Mary Glass, MSN, RN, as the hospital's new Director of Medical-Surgical Services.

A familiar and respected leader within the organization, Glass began her nursing career at STRHS Lawrenceburg in 2010 after graduating from Columbia State Community College. Since then, she has served in the Medical-Surgical unit, Emergency Department, as House Supervisor, and most recently as Education Supervisor. She earned both her BSN and MSN from Western Governors University before being named Director of Medical-Surgical Services in September 2026.

"Mary's journey is a wonderful example of the talent, dedication, and leadership that exists within our organization," said Rhee Perry, CEO of STRHS Lawrenceburg. "From the bedside to leadership, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to our patients, our staff, and our community. Mary understands the needs of our Medical-Surgical unit because she has grown alongside it throughout her career."

Born and raised in Lawrence County, Glass is passionate about serving the community she has always called home. She is committed to supporting her team, advancing patient care, and helping improve the health and well-being of the region.
