August 04, 2025
Southern Tennessee Regional Health System – Lawrenceburg (STRHS-Lawrenceburg) is proud to announce its latest designation as The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, timely care to the community.
This accreditation adds to the hospital’s growing list of clinical accomplishments, which already includes its status as a Chest Pain Accredited Facility. These recognitions demonstrate STRHS-Lawrenceburg’s dedication to delivering life-saving care when every second counts.
In addition to these certifications, the hospital has recently enhanced its Emergency Department services by adding another on-site provider to help reduce wait times and improve the overall patient experience. This investment ensures that community members can receive rapid, expert care close to home — without needing to travel for higher levels of treatment.
“Our goal is to make top-quality emergency care accessible right here in Lawrence County,” said Rhee Perry, CEO of STRHS-Lawrenceburg. “With these accreditations and new advancements in staffing, we are better prepared than ever to respond to critical health situations quickly and effectively.”
STRHS-Lawrenceburg stands by its mission to deliver exceptional care with compassion and excellence — solidifying its role as the community’s trusted healthcare provider for urgent and emergent needs.
