CT Scan

Our digital imaging department at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg offers a state of the art, high resolution CT, sometimes called a "CAT Scan". A computerized tomography (CT) combines a grouping of X-ray images that have been taken from various angles and then combines the many different images to create a high resolution cross-section of the skeleton, blood vessels, and soft tissue inside the body.  These pictures are also known as "Slices". The more "Slices" the higher the quality of the image. CT scans provide more detailed information than just a regular X-ray.

In addition to general CT imaging the following procedures are offered at our facility:

• Abscess Drainage
• Arthrogram
• Myelogram
• Bone Biopsy
• Bone Marrow Biopsy
• Liver Biopsy
• Renal Biopsy
