Our Emergency Department is open to accept patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The average ER wait times are routinely under 20 minutes to see the physician.

The Emergency Department at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System provides a full range of emergency medical care. Our ER Team is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with specialists in emergency medicine who are trained to provide excellence emergency care. All of our emergency services physicians are board certified.

We are very proud to announce that our hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain center. This distinction has been earned through hours of training and reorganizing our entire hospital staff to better react, treat, and understand the importance of instantaneously increasing the level of patient care as soon as heart conditions present themselves; no matter where they occur on our campus. Only 1,000 hospitals around the country hold this accreditation. 

Our Registered Nurses are trained in:

  • Basic Life Support Certified
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certified

  • Emergency medical helicopter evacuation service available 24 hours, 7 days a week.
