Ta-Ta Trot Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Fun Run Planned

The Radiology Department at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee announced their participation in the inaugural 5K fun run to benefit breast cancer awareness called the Ta-Ta Trot. October is breast cancer awareness month and STRHS-Lawrenceburg is always on the forefront of health related issues in Lawrence and surrounding counties.
The Ta-Ta Trot is scheduled for the morning of October 22, 2016 and is a rain or shine event. Participants will check in at Lawrence County High School before the race and run or walk a full 5 Kilometers. The course has been certified and official time will be kept by Solid Rock Timing. Runners and walkers will receive a dry fit workout shirt if they pre-register before October 15. The run/walk is free to kids with a registered adult. To register, visit TaTaTrot.itsyourrace.com.
The proceeds from the Ta-Ta Trot go directly to Women's Health Services of Lawrence County. Men and women are encouraged to participate and everyone is invited to wear PINK to help create awareness about breast cancer and the importance of having a mammogram if you are 50 years of age or older.
